Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton Temps is recruiting a Dispatch Operative in Wolverhampton for an established engineering company. You will handle dispatch of engineering products, stock in/out using the stock control system, unload deliveries and keep stock in designated racking.

The role is full-time, rotating shifts 6:00-14:30 and 13:00-22:00, with a clear route to permanent employment for reliable workers. Prior engineering stores or warehouse experience is essential, and good IT and communication

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering stores, dispatch or warehouse environments.
• Experience booking tools and stock using a stock control system.
• Strong IT skills with inventory software proficiency.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to commute to site for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch engineering products and materials accurately.
• Book tools, materials and stock in and out using the stock control system.
• Unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Store stock correctly within designated racking.
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock records and complete system transactions.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site rules.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
