Job summary

You will develop detailed schedules, sequence activities and allocate resources to ensure on-time delivery while balancing shutdowns and operational needs.

The role focuses on planning a varied CAPEX portfolio, coordinating labour and contractors, and ensuring schedules reflect production requirements and site constraints.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Engineering Planner or Project Planner in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Experience planning mechanical and electrical engineering works within live environments.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for multiple mechanical and electrical projects.
• Use planning software to sequence activities, allocate resources and track progress.
• Coordinate labour, contractors and resources across engineering disciplines.
• Plan work around production requirements and plant shutdowns.
• Attend regular planning meetings to review upcoming works and conflicts.
• Improve forward planning and reduce reactive scheduling.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and support recovery planning.
• Maintain planning databases covering timelines, resources and dependencies.
• Support CAPEX projects involving machinery installations and electrical upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reflect operational constraints in schedules.
