Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (Project Engineer within Capital Maintenance) to manage end-to-end CAPEX projects across our sites and estate. You will scope, tender, procure, and lead on-site activities with a focus on safety and value for money.

You will work with operations teams and contractors to cost solutions, ensure timely delivery, and handover complete documentation. The role requires on-site work five days a week with travel to multiple sites and a valid driving

Qualifications

Preferably have a background in Engineering, such as Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Formal qualifications within these sectors encouraged (BTEC/HND or equivalent).
Knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects with values from £100k to £1m per project.
Oversee project scoping, tendering, procurement, site set up, inductions, and safety inspections.
Draft RAMS, CPP and ensure CDM compliance; oversee commissioning, handover and documentation.
