Job summary

Samuel Frank is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Cheshire-based engineering solutions provider delivering complex technical projects for blue-chip customers across process, utilities, manufacturing and nuclear sectors.

You will take commercial and technical responsibility for customer projects from scope and design through build, FAT, installation, commissioning and final handover, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams along the way.

Qualifications

• Proven supplier-side engineering project delivery experience managing external customers.
• Experience with systems integrators, OEMs, machine builders or EC&I contractors.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle from scope to handover.
• Commercially aware with budgets, stage payments, variations and contractual obligations.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls and software resources.
• APM/PRINCE2 or similar qualification advantageous; full UK driving licence and UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial and technical responsibility for projects from contract award to handover.
• Manage customer requirements, scope, deliverables, budgets and timescales.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement and site resources across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor costs, stage payments, variations and commercial performance.
• Identify and resolve technical, commercial and delivery risks.
• Lead projects through FAT, installation, commissioning and final handover.
