Precision Quoting: Price key commodities, based on client enquiries.
Cost Reduction: Lower total acquisition costs across materials, labour, machining, and finished components.
Supply Chain Management: Monitor supplier capacity to optimise lead times and ensure agile production.
Quality & Compliance: Guarantee all quoted components meet precise technical specifications.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary link between the supply chain and internal operations.
Technical Expertise: Strong engineering or machine shop background with the ability to interpret machine drawings for accurate pricing.
Procurement Experience: Proven track record managing high-value spend, commodity management, and reducing total acquisition costs.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of metal commodity markets and technical standards.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively influence vendors to improve costs and lead times.
Systems Fluency: Experience with integrated ERP systems and MS Office.
