Job description

Our client is currently looking for an engineer with an electrical bias to work on a large Hyper Scale Data Centre in West London.

Our client is involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, and Commercial.

Responsibilities:

• Project planning using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProject
• Developing pre-construction, construction, and commissioning programs
• Developing project control systems specific to the projects, including setting up WBS, progress measurement systems, developing S-curves, cost loading, and baselining schedules
• Measuring progress of all works, including sub-contracts, using a bespoke PMS, monitoring labour hours, analysing efficiencies, updating schedules, system turnover tracking, monitoring delays, notifying clients of delays, and preparing monthly reports for management

Requirements:

• Solid mechanical and electrical construction experience, ideally in data center or commercial projects
• Knowledge and experience of delay analysis techniques
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental systems
• Knowledge of BIM and engineering processes, particularly at the pre-construction stage
• Understanding of QA handover processes and commissioning at project turnover stage
