Job summary

Burnley College is seeking a Placement Coordinator in Engineering to co-ordinate and source placements and assess and review learners, supporting them through their qualifications in Engineering.

You will arrange placements for full-time learners within the division and undertake the accompanying administration, liaising with providers and visiting learners in placement to ensure learners and employers have a good placement experience.

Qualifications

• Good general education including 4 GCSEs or equivalent to support this role.
• Engineering Level 3/4 qualification is essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and source placements for learners within the division.
• Liaise with providers and visit learners on placement to ensure a good placement experience for learners and employers.
• Undertake accompanying administration to support placements.
