Amazon seeks a collaborative electrical maintenance professional for our AWS team. The position involves on-site maintenance and operation of electrical, mechanical, emergency generators, and fire/life safety equipment within a data center. The Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) ensures mission-critical equipment maintains >99.999% uptime, drives innovation, and reduces operational costs.
EOTs are front-line responders for troubleshooting and operating electrical and mechanical equipment, including standby diesel generators, switchboards, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems. The role requires 24/7 shift coverage, which may include 12-hour shifts, rotating schedules, and varying work weeks based on business needs.
