Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in London is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Runtime Platform to lead a single team and own delivery, engagement, resourcing, roadmap, and performance. You'll coach and grow the team, hire, and set technical direction on latency, profiling, real-time scheduling, and middleware, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure fast iteration and strong CI.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a software/systems team in a product-focused environment.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and retain top engineers.
• Strong technical judgement on latency, profiling, and real-time systems.
• Experience with embedded Linux (and ideally QNX).

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Runtime Platform team, owning delivery and roadmap.
• Own hiring and onboarding to build the right team culture.
• Drive execution ensuring work aligns with company goals and resources.
• Set technical direction and own the team's technology roadmap.
• Own the runtime foundations across system design, middleware, and observability.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Software teams, hardware, and OEM programs.
