United States Digital Space LLC in London (Kings Cross) seeks a Senior Software Leader to drive DevOps, test, and data pipelines in a regulated medical device setting.

Role requires guiding a team, defining CI/CD across the stack, and owning Yocto-based Linux builds and V&V strategy, while aligning with IEC 62304/ISO 14971. The role combines hands-on leadership with technical direction and AI-driven innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, DevOps, or test engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead DevOps, test, platform, or infrastructure teams.
• Strong CI/CD, build systems, and test automation in embedded/cloud.
• Experience with embedded Linux build and deployment, ideally Yocto.
• Experience in regulated environments with IEC 62304/ISO 14971.
• Advanced Python and C/C++, plus one major cloud provider.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of DevOps and test engineers, setting priorities and development plans.
• Own CI/CD strategy and build/release infrastructure across the stack.
• Own Yocto-based embedded Linux platform build and deployment, with secure updates.
• Lead architecture reviews and contribute to high-level technical solutions.
• Define and drive software V&V and test automation strategy.
• Establish compliance-as-code workflows mapping to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.
• Own cloud data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for data ingest and MLOps.
• Coordinate cybersecurity workstreams with IT and QARA.
• Partner with Software Engineering Manager on release processes and gates.
• AI is fundamental; embrace AI in daily work and initiatives.
