Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) seeks an Engineering Manager for Product Configuration across Glasgow, Filton or Portsmouth with hybrid work (1-2 days per week). You will lead on analysing product configuration processes, defining requirements, and guiding tool-based CM solutions to ensure proper baselines and change control across the programme.

The role requires CM expertise, leadership experience or potential, and strong stakeholder management across levels within a multi-national aerospace and defence

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with CM experience.
• Proven experience in Configuration Management toolsets and CM practices.
• Experience leading or coaching a team, or stepping into management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration team through business change with clarity and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain CM plans, tools and processes.
• Prepare and share configuration baselines aligned with design review strategy.
