Job summary

Copello Global is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to lead configuration management for aerospace projects in North Kent. The role focuses on implementing CM processes across multiple projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers and customers, defining and controlling configuration baselines, documentation, and changes throughout the product lifecycle. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the five pillars of Configuration Management.
• Experience operating within regulated engineering frameworks and standards.
• Experience in AS9100 / EN9100 environments.
• Strong Configuration Management background within aerospace.
• Experience managing product structures and the documentation that supports aerospace products.
• Understanding of industry-standard Configuration Management processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the projects, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance to be considered.

We’re looking for an experienced Configuration Engineer to join a specialist engineering organisation, supporting the effective implementation of Configuration Management processes across a range of complex aerospace projects.

This is an opportunity to work closely with engineering teams, project managers and customers, ensuring configuration requirements are clearly defined, controlled and maintained throughout the full product lifecycle.
