Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering background in Java/Kotlin/Spring Boot.
• Experience as Engineering Manager or Lead in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Experience in healthcare/regulatory environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Team Scaling & Mentorship: Build, mentor and retain a squad of 6-8 engineers with clear growth pathways.
• Architecture & Delivery: Guide teams in resilient, event-driven architectures and microservices.
• In-housing Delivery: Transition ownership from external consultants to the internal squad within 90 days.
• Stakeholder Management: Balance technical debt with delivery commitments across matrix stakeholders.
