Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science.
• Professional Engineer Registration or Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering or related experience, including 1 year of nuclear power plant experience.
• Maintain access requirements and medical examination/testing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Direct engineering and technical leadership for short- and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks applying general engineering principles.
• Ensure proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies and analyses for technical projects.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Fulfill additional duties including emergency response and outage support.
