Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a senior leader to provide technical leadership and systems architecture expertise across complex nuclear programmes in the UK. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, inspire delivery teams, and shape transformation roadmaps at programme and plant level.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and defining architectures across complex programmes.
• Knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements, safety cases, hazard management, verification and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and systems architecture expertise, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and inspiring both customer and delivery teams to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Assess client engineering, integration, and digital capabilities at programme and whole-plant level, defining transformation roadmaps and future-state architectures aligned to business and operational objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including Design Authority leads and executive leaders, supporting business development, discovery activities, and early-stage project delivery.
• Deliver expert guidance across the full nuclear lifecycle, including design, safety, manufacturing, construction, and operations, with strong knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements, safety cases, hazard management, verification, validation, and compliance.
• Apply digital engineering approaches such as MBSE, PLM, digital thread, and digital twin technologies to enhance programme integration, assurance, governance, and delivery performance.
• Support successful solution delivery by working closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical oversight, resolving delivery challenges, and ensuring projects achieve their intended outcomes
