Job summary

Forge Partnerships in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team spanning Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineering. You will own product definitions, BOMs, and ensure on-time releases while guiding engineers toward DFMA, cost reduction, and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain, track KPIs, drive improvements, and foster a high-performance culture with strong communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading mechanical, electrical and/or software engineering teams.
• Strong focus on accuracy of product definition (drawings, models, BOMs).
• Experience with DFMA and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ability to use KPI data to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary engineering team (Mechanical, Electrical & Software).
• Own on-time, accurate release of product definitions, BOMs and drawings.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement in design and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness (DFMA).
• Maintain compliance with industry and quality standards.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Track KPIs related to cost, quality and delivery; take corrective action where needed.
• Drive cost reduction through engineering changes without compromising quality.
