Job summary

Games Workshop seeks an experienced Engineering Manager at our Nottingham headquarters to lead Site Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will oversee maintenance across facilities, develop upgrades, and drive KPI-based improvements, while coordinating with safety, procurement and quality teams.

The role emphasizes managing complex projects, ensuring uptime and value from contractors, and developing skilled staff including apprentices in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical staff in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Proven track record in maintenance programmes, health and safety compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and shifts with competing projects and priorities.
• Experience with infrastructure projects and managing contractors, with cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Ultimately responsible for Site Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams across facilities.
• Develop and deliver planned preventative maintenance programmes and projects.
• Establish and monitor meaningful departmental KPIs and long-term plans.
• Oversee costs, contractor/service agreements, and value delivery.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety, Project Management, Procurement, Quality and Training to improve operations.
