Job summary

Morson Edge in Wakefield is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the site's engineering function, ensuring safety, efficiency and reliability while driving continuous improvement and long-term asset strategy.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee maintenance, reliability, projects and CAPEX, align systems to operational performance, and partner with HSE, Quality and Supply Chain to support growth.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams in FMCG/manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in maintenance, reliability and asset management.
• Experience with budgets, projects and CAPEX planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the engineering team with a safety-first, high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement site engineering and maintenance strategies for maximum availability.
• Drive preventative maintenance programmes and asset management plans.
