Job summary

Myn is recruiting an Engineering Manager in London to lead and develop a team responsible for business-critical software and digital platforms. You will work closely with Product, Architecture, Platform and other technology leaders to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.

You will create an environment where engineers can perform at their best by removing blockers, improving practices and developing people while maintaining product delivery momentum.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong background in software engineering or technology.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices.
• Experience working with Product and Architecture teams.
• Ability to balance delivery, technical quality and longer-term priorities.
• Experience improving engineering processes and ways of working.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience hiring and developing technical talent.
• Background in Java/backend engineering, cloud platforms, distributed systems, DevOps or platform engineering.
• Experience within fintech, payments, banking, SaaS or another large-scale digital environment.

Responsibilities
