Reed Talent Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager for our Blackpool site to lead a team of multi-skilled engineers in a fast-paced FMCG environment, ensuring reliability, performance and continuous improvement.

This on-site role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, and partnering with production, engineering contractors, and support functions to align priorities with operational demands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-skilled engineers in a high-volume FMCG environment.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and coordination of maintenance activities.
• Proactive leadership of safety, quality and engineering compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities through effective planning, prioritisation, and execution.
• Collaborate with production and operational teams to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion high standards of health & safety, food safety, engineering compliance, and best practice.
