Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking an Engineering Manager in the United Kingdom to lead around 20 engineers across 3 software squads. You will mentor Engineering Leads and Senior Engineers while improving engineering standards and processes as the business scales.

You will stay hands-on enough to challenge technical and architectural decisions and partner with Product and Architecture on ongoing software initiatives, including modernising the tech stack and implementing CI/CD and automated

• Strong software engineering background with ability to challenge technical decisions.
• Experience coaching engineers and leading mid-to-senior teams.
• Proven track record in hiring and developing engineering talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead around 20 engineers across 3 squads.
• Manage and mentor Engineering Leads and Senior Engineers.
• Improve engineering standards, processes and ways of working.
• Remain close to technology to challenge technical and architectural decisions.
• Help shape how the engineering function develops as the business scales.
• Play an active role in interviewing and recruiting new engineers.
• Work closely with Product and Architecture on ongoing software initiatives.
