Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Site Engineering Manager for a fast-growing food manufacturing operation based in South Hampshire/West Sussex. You will report to the Head of Operations and lead a team of 15–20 engineers responsible for maintaining production technology and driving improvements.

The role sits on the Senior Leadership Team, shaping strategy, delivering projects on time, and ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced industrial engineering environment.
• People-focused management approach.
• Working understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong multi-skilled technical abilities.
• Collaborative team player and capable leader.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a team of 15-20 Engineers
• Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the site-based engineering department
• Driving continuous improvement of engineering practices, standards and projects
• Legionella management
• Ensure the CMMS is operating efficiently
• Environmental compliance management
• Ensuring site service, production maintenance and projects are on track
