Job summary

Mark43 is hiring an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership for integrations between the core platform and critical third-party systems.

You will shape architecture, review designs, and lead delivery of complex integrations while mentoring engineers and partnering with Product and other technical teams. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in our Manchester office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend services, distributed systems, and integrations.
• Proven technical leadership on complex projects including architecture reviews and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrations between Mark43 core platform and third-party systems.
• Define architecture, review designs and code, and guide delivery of complex integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner teams to deliver reliable APIs and data pipelines.
• Balance hands-on work with mentoring and team leadership to drive technical excellence.
• Ensure reliability, security, performance, and observability of distributed systems.
