We are building and scaling our engineering teams in London and looking for an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager to establish and lead our new Reporting team, part of the Worktools group. This group focuses on tools that help users interact with monday.com efficiently. It includes features that users see and use daily (like dashboards and docs) and platforms that support other teams in building and improving the product.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the team from the ground up, define its engineering standards, and build cutting-edge solutions that enhance the monday.com platform for millions of users.

Please note this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our London office (Fitzrovia).

  • Work closely with product and design teams to build robust services and exceptional user experiences.
  • Take an active role in defining and designing advanced solutions that push the boundaries of our platform.
  • Our tech stack: Node.js, Ruby On Rails, ReactJS, K8s, AWS, Redis, MySQL. We operate in a microservices and microfrontends architecture, allowing for rapid development and deployment cycles.

Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.

Requirements

  • Experience building web applications from scratch in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Impact-driven mindset, with a strong focus on users and business needs.
  • A strong sense of ownership, ensuring high-quality delivery and long-term success.

What monday.com can offer you:

  • Fun team events, socials, and offsites.
  • Up to two weeks per year to work remotely from abroad.
