Seccl is seeking an engineering manager to lead one of our product squads. You will report to an engineering director, coach engineers and balance delivery speed with quality, security and long-term maintainability.

You will work with product managers across Seccl and ensure alignment with customer and regulatory priorities. You will nurture a psychologically safe team, foster learning, and guide architecture decisions while remaining close to the technology to provide practical leadership and

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams delivering complex product platforms.
• Proven track record hiring, onboarding and coaching engineers.
• Strong technical credibility to guide decisions while maintaining delivery focus.
• Experience with modern JavaScript stack and cloud-based tech.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and responsible usage.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an inclusive, high-performing engineering squad.
• Partner with product managers to align work with priorities.
• Own delivery health: planning, production readiness, reliability and maintainability.
• Guide technical decisions for scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions.
• Drive delivery predictability using metrics and team feedback.
• Recruit and onboard engineers, shaping engineering practices.
