Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (UGC) to join our Energy Business Unit, based from Motherwell or Inverness. You will lead multi-disciplinary engineering activities across pre-contract and project delivery, ensuring safe, compliant, on-time solutions for major underground cable infrastructure projects in Scotland.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Experience supporting major tenders and bid submissions.
Experience managing engineering and design processes during tender and project delivery.
Strong governance, compliance and assurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering activities across pre-contract and delivery stages.
Coordinate internal and external engineering resources for delivery.
Identify temporary works and allocate resources to support delivery.
Serve as senior point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Ensure staff competency, training records and compliance requirements.
Implement health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
