Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Electronics) to join a Cambridge-based R&D company developing state-of-the-art medical devices technology.

You will be a dynamic individual looking to take the next step in your career. This role involves leading electronics design and development, managing a small team, overseeing product development from concept to launch, liaising with customers, fostering relationships, managing projects, and acting as the conduit between the development team and senior stakeholders.

Engineering Manager (Electronics) Requirements:

• At least a 2:1 degree in electronic engineering, physics, or a relevant discipline from a top university.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience as a Technical Lead, Project Manager, or Mentor.
• Recent and extensive hands-on experience in analogue and digital design.
• Skilled in embedded software development (C / C++).
• Proven track record in electronic circuit and system design innovation.
• Practical electronics skills (soldering, wiring, bench work, PCBs, etc.).
• Full product development experience from conception to prototype to manufacturing is advantageous.
