Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Data Operations team within PDEGO to lead and scale our data product space. You will cultivate an agile team, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Directors and product teams to align technical solutions with business strategy.

The role requires 5+ years building complex software and 2+ years in engineering management, with experience in React and scripting languages.

Qualifications

• Has experience working in an agile team.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience reviewing code changes.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to drive complex projects.
• Interested in music and in learning the intricacies of the music business.
• Able to influence cross-functional teams and create consensus between engineering teams.
• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Experience with React/frontend JS is a plus.
• 2+ years in an engineering management role.
• 5+ years building and maintaining complex software products.
• 5+ years in a scripting language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
