Job summary

SHI UK is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a software development team, setting the technical vision and roadmap while delivering high-quality features. This hands-on leadership role combines coding oversight with people management, agile facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires experience with C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, RESTful services, and strong knowledge of relational databases and automation. Hybrid work and travel up to 20% are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the software development team, including hiring and performance reviews.
• Define the technical vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.

• Collaborate with product, sales and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Enforce best practices for testing, code quality and deployment, and drive automation.
