At MHR, a Software Engineering Manager will lead a cross-functional team of software and test engineers, shaping the next generation of our cloud-based HR and Payroll platform.

You'll combine people leadership with technical influence, champion engineering excellence, test-driven development, and continuous improvement across product and engineering squads.

You'll work with .NET, Angular, Azure and AI-enabled tooling to drive quality and delivery while nurturing talent and career growth.

Qualifications

Experience leading or mentoring software engineers within Agile teams.
Strong software engineering background.
Passion for engineering excellence and test-driven development.
Experience driving continuous improvement and high-performing teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Interest in modern engineering practices, cloud technologies and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional engineering team.
Drive a culture of quality, test-driven development and continuous improvement.
Support the delivery of scalable, maintainable software and architecture.
Partner with Product and Scrum teams to deliver against product roadmaps.
Remove delivery obstacles and improve team effectiveness.
Support recruitment, talent development and succession planning.
Champion AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity and quality.
