Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Short Term Credit Engineering Group, leading one of the teams responsible for FlexiPay Card and Cashback Credit Card products.

The role

You will be accountable for executing the roadmap for your area, delivering on business and technology objectives. You’ll also help improve your team’s product development maturity and progress towards our engineering excellence and target architecture. Key qualities include:

1. Team Builder: Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment, empowering engineers and promoting open communication and mutual respect.
2. Strategic Driver: Prioritize work, plan capacity, ensure timely delivery, and promote strategic technology adoption.

What we’re looking for

• Management or technical leadership experience, ideally over 1 year in a management role
• Experience managing teams working on card products
• Proven track record delivering high-value products using agile methodologies
• Understanding of engineering performance metrics for continuous improvement
• Alignment with Funding Circle’s values and positive team leadership
