BGIS is seeking an experiencedEngineering Manager to provide technical leadership for The Crown Estates contract. The role focuses on leadership of the mechanical and electrical strategies, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance across sites.

You will report to the Area General Manager with a dotted line to The Crown Estates Senior Technical Manager, supporting technical reviews and the implementation of Building Intelligence and Net Zero targets.

Qualificações

• Managerial experience at contract level within a hard services business.
• Electrically or mechanically qualified to NVQ level 3.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Systems, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Closed Water Systems.
• Knowledge of Controls Systems, Safety Circuits, BMS, PMS, EMS, PLC, Lighting Controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Numerate and computer literate.
• NEBOSH qualification to enable collaboration with account QHSE lead.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and ensure service commitments and KPIs are met per contract.
• Ensure full compliance with company electrical rules and HV/LV activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve Building Performance and Net Zero Carbon objectives.
• Support site teams and client in technical reviews against best practices and site standards.
• Engage in development plans for team growth and competency.
• Provide out-of-hours technical support to local site teams.
• Promote and implement BGIS management systems and processes across sites for consistency.
• Complete technical site audits and support Critical Works processes.

WearelookingforanexperiencedEngineeringManagertoprovidetechnicalleadership, management, and development of the engineering team on The Crown Estates contract, Ensuring operational excellence and compliance standard are met and exceeded.

The role will cover in the main both the mechanical and electrical strategies within The Crown Estates building, with likely cover required across the rest of the contract portfolios as well. Reportingtothe Area General Manager, the role will also have an indirect reporting line to The Crown Estates Senior Technical Manager.

To support the site team and client in the technical review of proposed works against industry best practice and site standards and the impact to business operations.

Fully engage with Building Performance and Net Zero Carbon targets through the implementation of Building intelligence system and optimisation of the M&E systems within the buildings.

Technical Responsibilities

• Responsiblefortechnicalleadershipandensurethatalltechnicalservicecommitments and KPIs as per the contractare met.
• ResponsibleforHV/LVactivitiesensuringfullcompliancewithcompanyelectricalrules.
• Collaborate with the Technical Stakeholders within TCE to agree and implement strategies to achieve Building Performance and Net Zero Carbon objectives.

• Provide updates to the mechanical and electrical rules based on account nuances.
