We are looking for an experienced Engineer with supervisory experience to join our Bromborough client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing an engineering and maintenance function, including but not limited to planned preventative maintenance, testing and repairs covering a wide range of equipment, services, systems and buildings on a large manufacturing site.

What you will be doing:
- Manage all shift and day engineers and engineering activities
- Work to and promote a positive H&S culture
- Effectively manage the PPM schedule on site, covering all Extrusion related equipment
- Plan and execute daily preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections
- Assist with fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations
- Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst maintaining all PPM schedules
- Support project development and practice continuous improvement
- Fully engage with the operations team to provide proactive support to the plant and equipment
- Organise the team and respond promptly to any unplanned maintenance issues or repairs
- Demonstrate tenacity in approach to incident management and actively pursue investigations to identify root causes
- Effectively involve specialists to resolve complex issues
What we are looking for:
- Will have a time served apprenticeship (or equivalent) and have a recognised qualification in a related discipline (or equivalent)
- Multi-disciplined
- Supervisory experience within an engineering/maintenance function
- Experience using Lean and Six Sigma tools
- Flexible, organised, highly motivated and driven with the ability to prioritise own workload
- Possess strong intellect and good logical fault-finding analysis capabilities
- Demonstrate the ability to make decisions and empower people to drive actions forward
- Results orientated, with ability to deliver results in a rapidly changing environment
- Proactive and dynamic approach to health, safety and environmental situations
