The role
As an Engineering Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll play a pivotal role in influencing the design, build, supportability and long-term availability of the UK's future submarine fleet. Working at the heart of one of the most significant defence programmes in the country, you'll act as Babcock's senior engineering representative, collaborating with major industry partners and defence stakeholders to ensure the insights of the in-service maintainer are embedded into future submarine capability
Day-to-day, you'll be required to
35 hours per week, based at Barrow-in-Furness. Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to other Babcock sites will be expected, including Devonport, Clyde and Bristol
