Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Kidlington, UK is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to own elements of the month-end process, produce management accounts, journals and balance sheet reporting. You will analyse performance against budget, provide insights on variances and work with operational and finance stakeholders.

In addition, you will manage inventory accounting, stock movements and accruals, and contribute to strengthening financial controls and reporting processes across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in management accounting.
• Experience with inventory accounting/stock control.
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication of financial information.

Responsibilities

• Own elements of the month end process, including management accounts, journals and balance sheet reporting.
• Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast with clear commentary on variances.
• Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to understand business performance.
• Account for inventory reporting, stock movements, accruals and adjustments.
• Maintain strong financial controls and support reporting process improvements.
