Reporting to: Site Engineering Manager

This role suits an experienced Maintenance Manager or an aspiring Engineering Shift Manager ready for a bigger challenge. You will lead the maintenance engineering technical change agenda, improve line performance, and apply World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, including TPM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximize engineering resources and technical skills
• Manage a multi-million-pound engineering budget
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance (PM) program
• Manage corrective maintenance activities
• Standardize maintenance procedures
• Drive performance improvements, lead projects, and manage budgets to achieve engineering excellence
• Develop autonomous maintenance programs and serve as a subject matter expert
• Continuously improve and reengineer maintenance processes
• Create and execute maintenance strategies to optimize plant capacity
• Monitor operational efficiency, identify underperformance, and implement improvements
• Manage maintenance-related projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in delivering maintenance improvement projects
• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance leadership role
• Proven success in developing and implementing maintenance programs
• Strong understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance practices
• Experience with CMMS is a plus
• Leadership experience with technical teams
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques (WCM/TPM/Lean)
• HNC/HND in an engineering discipline
• Track record of continuous improvement
