As the Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the University’s engineering systems, plant and building services across all campuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership and oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure robust statutory compliance across the estate.
• Act as the University’s principal engineering lead for operational decision‑making, diagnosing complex technical issues and assuring contractor performance.
• Support project delivery through technical review and engineering oversight.
• Combine hands‑on engineering expertise with team management, system optimisation and data‑driven maintenance planning.
• Maintain building performance, resilience, safety and user experience to support teaching, research and professional services.
