EDF Energy invites applications for a four-year Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship. You’ll study at the National College for Nuclear in Somerset for two years, earning a BTEC Level 3 while gaining hands-on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation experience.

Years 3–4 are spent at Hartlepool nuclear power station, applying skills from your training with experienced engineers, and developing real-world problem solving. Salary starts at 17,606 per year.

Qualifications

• GCSEs with Maths, English and two science/technical subjects.
• Interest in engineering and eagerness to learn new skills.
• GCSE level entry requirements and progression through college-based training.
