Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Lecturer in Hull to deliver Level 4 and Level 5 engineering modules as part of NC/HNC/HND programmes. You will teach a range of subjects and support project work across Levels 3–5 in a multi-site environment.

The role requires a degree, 5+ years of industry experience, and strong technical and interpersonal skills, with DBS checks and potential travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Be degree qualified.
• Have at least five years relevant industry experience.
• Have excellent technical skills.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• A teaching qualification is desirable but full training would be given to the right applicant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of engineering subjects at Level 4 and Level 5 as part of the Engineering NC/HNC/HND programme.
• Subjects to be taught may include: Mechanical principles, Engineering maths, Engineering science, Engineering design, Fluid mechanics, CAD, Health & safety, Organisational efficiency & improvements / lean manufacture, Professional engineering management.
• Facilitate and assess engineering projects at Level 3 & 4 and research project work at Level 5.
• There may be some travelling between sites and a DBS check may be required.
