Qualifications

• Collaborating - Able to recognise how learners are responding to technical and practical teaching, adapt communication and support accordingly, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, employers and DTEC partners.
• Focused - Able to maintain high levels of concentration and attention to detail during practical teaching, assessment and workshop activity, particularly where safe working, precision and quality standards are critical.
• Problem-solving - Able to apply engineering knowledge to diagnose technical problems, critically evaluate information and develop logical solutions, while helping learners build the same problem-solving capability.
• Interpreting - Able to interpret and apply quantitative engineering information such as measurements, calculations, tolerances, specifications and test results accurately within teaching, assessment and practical activity.
