Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment represents a high-growth UK SaaS business seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to shape engineering standards and lead the next phase of platform evolution. You will balance people leadership with technical direction and delivery performance across AI-driven development squads.

The tech environment includes NestJS/NodeJS, VueJS, Redis and SQL Server, with .NET backgrounds welcome.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a SaaS or product-led environment.
• Hands-on software engineering background (C#/.NET or modern JS/TS stacks).
• Proven leadership of engineering teams, including AI-driven initiatives.
• Experience building and operating systems at scale and strong QA mindset.

Responsibilities

• Shape engineering standards and architecture for the platform.
• Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Balance people leadership with technical direction and delivery metrics.
