Job summary

TESTQ Technologies LTD. seeks an Engineering Lead with deep expertise in file transfer protocols and Sterling integrator to uplift engineering capabilities and automate services. You will lead geographically dispersed teams, drive best practices, and own incident resolution with robust RCA processes.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to translate complex technical details for business stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of BPML in Sterling integrator and existing services/adaptors.
• Expert understanding of file transfer protocols SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS.
• Strong ability to create transfers using ConnectDirect.
• Experience with PGP encryption/decryption tools.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, XPath, XSLT and Unix shell scripting.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/observability tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead uplift of engineering capability and enforce best practices.
• Build automation across engineering teams and drive delivery governance.
• Own resolution of production incidents with RCA and post-mortems.
• Coordinate crisis calls for service recovery and MIRs/SIPs.
• Translate complex technical information for customers and leaders.

The main responsibilities of the person would be to help me uplift the engineering capability of my engineering teams adopting best practice and helping to put in place the right skills so that we can build and develop more automation for the rest of my teams

• Extensive knowledge in BPML Business Processing Modelling Language in Sterling integrator using the existing services and adaptors
• Expert understanding of industry standard file transfer protocols SFTP FTPS AS2 HTTPS
• Strong knowledge in creating transfers using ConnectDirect
• Excellent analytical logical and understanding skills
• Highly skilled in complex problem solving critical thinking applying judgement building consensus and decision making
• Worked on PGP encryption and decryption tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to translate complex technical information into an engaging and understandable format for customers and business leaders
• Experience of leading geographically dispersed teams and managing stakeholder expectations
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with a proven track record of strategic execution
• L3 support capabilities participate in crisis calls for service recovery MIRs and SIPs Own the resolution of problems in hand demonstrate analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent recurrence Manage and coordinate the resolution of production incidents along with RCA
• Knowledge in production support release management delivery artifacts and delivery management
• Understanding CICD pipelines monitoring and observability tools eg AppDynamics Splunk etc would be an added advantage
• Programming experience Java SQL XPATH XSLT Unix shell script
• Database management experience Oracle and SQL Server
• Proven ability and willing to learn new technologies
• A strong level of IT literacy including a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure operating systems networking security
• Strong sense of do the right thing in relation to standards and governance
• Flexible to work in rotating shifts and provide out of hours support on rotation basis to support the services
