As an Engineering Lead in Matchday and as part of the Sports domain, you will be at the forefront of managing technical aspects and setting the pace, leading by example throughout your team's endeavors. You'll lead a group of engineers, providing clear guidance to help them achieve exceptional results. Your hands‑on engineering experience will be an integral part of your leadership style, as you actively contribute as a team member.

You work closely with your local Product Owner to ensure successful delivery of the product backlog across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with a strong focus on delivering a customer experience that we can be proud of, setting a high standard for excellence.

• Cross‑Team Support: Help to build a culture of teamwork across the Sports domain that supports the efficient delivery of value to our customers.

• Software Development: Ideally have a background in backend software development using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, AWS, GraphQL, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.
