Job summary

Jark PLC in the Wakefield/South Kirkby area is seeking an experienced Engineering Labourer to maintain, repair and paint edge-protection barriers on site, keeping them safe and presentable for use.

You will support refurbishment through general maintenance, surface preparation and painting, adhering to health and safety procedures and company quality standards. Responsibilities include site cleaning, lifting, stock control, and teamwork to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience: Labourer or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and use tools safely.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.

We are looking to recruit a General Operative responsible for the following...

• To maintain, repair, and paint edge-protection barriers to ensure they remain safe, serviceable, and presentable for use on site.

To support the refurbishment process by carrying out general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting whilst adhering to health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
