Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland offers a 13‑month placement in Droitwich Engineering, focusing on maintenance reliability and asset lifecycle. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across reliability, data analysis and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

You will work with site engineers, participate in RCA activities and develop project management skills while contributing to safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• University students on track to achieve a 2:1 and above.
• Interest in CBM, reliability engineering, and asset performance improvement.
• Passion for Manufacturing Excellence and continuous improvement.
• Interest in using data to drive decision-making and improve equipment reliability.
• Eligibility to work in the UK; role not sponsorable due to salary threshold.

Responsibilities

• Support asset reliability and maintenance excellence by assisting in investigations and maintenance strategies.
• Analyze maintenance and production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting and milestone planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations teams on process improvements.
• Engage in group projects with placement students and learn automation development basics.
