Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland invites motivated engineering students to join the Droitwich Engineering team for a 13‑month placement. You will gain hands‑on experience in maintenance excellence, asset lifecycle and reliability, while developing leadership and data‑driven decision making.

Gain exposure to RCA, continuous improvement and project planning, working with diverse teams to deliver tangible site improvements in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a 2:1 or above in an engineering degree.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship for this role).
• Interest in CBM, reliability engineering and asset performance improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Engineering Manager and teams in improving asset reliability and equipment performance.
• Analyse maintenance and production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting and reporting for engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality and cost improvements.
