EDF invites talented students to join its STEM Industrial Placement at one of the UK's most ambitious energy projects. The role begins in September 2027 with a starting salary of £26,050 and offers placement at the Hinkley Point C site or Satellite Delivery Centre in Bridgwater.

You will be immersed in practical learning, mentored by teams delivering major programmes in a live construction environment. You will gain hands-on experience across Nuclear Operations and Primary Circuit installation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• Security Vetting requirements: UK resident for at least three of the past five years.
• Interest in innovation, technology and the future of low‑carbon energy.

Responsibilities

• Support Nuclear Operations and installation of the Primary Circuit at Hinkley Point C.
• Participate in real projects and gain exposure to major programme delivery.
• Develop skills in project reporting, digital tools and operational improvement activities.
