Job summary

Centrica’s Engineering Graduate Programme offers early-career engineers the chance to gain hands-on experience across nuclear, power generation, energy storage, hydrogen, heat networks and more. You will rotate through multiple engineering disciplines, delivering real projects while learning from mentors and line managers in a supportive, hybrid-working environment.

You’ll begin with a £36,000 starting salary, participate in a bonus scheme, and grow through three rotational placements with

Qualifications

• Degree in a suitable engineering discipline (First Class or 2:1 with Masters)
• Curious, proactive and keen to learn
• Willingness to travel and relocate between placements when required
• Right to work in the UK; UK driving licence or working towards one by Sept 2027

Responsibilities

• Rotational placements across different engineering areas and projects
• Work on meaningful engineering challenges and contribute to safe, reliable energy solutions
• Develop technical, business, and stakeholder engagement skills through structured development
