Job summary
GI Operations is seeking an Engineering Geologist on a permanent basis. You will log soil and rock, perform in-situ testing and sampling, and assist with planning and supervising ground investigation projects.
A degree in geotechnical discipline, a full UK driving licence, and knowledge of BS5930:2015 are preferred. Excellent salary, company car with fuel card, pension, medical cover, 25 days leave and training opportunities are on offer.
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in geotechnical discipline
- Proficiency in site investigation techniques
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Driving licence for site visits
Responsibilities
- Log soil and rock cores and logs
- Conduct in-situ testing and sampling
- Assist with planning and supervising ground investigation projects
- Liaise with clients and team members
