Soil Engineering is seeking a qualified professional to manage day-to-day contracts within the geotechnical industry, focusing on safety, quality, and cost control. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a full UK driving license and relevant experience in ground investigation and contract management.
We are looking for candidates who can manage the day-to-day operational control of contracts within the UK, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, cost control, performance to programme, and customer service.
Candidates will maintain commercial awareness to ensure the company is not exposed financially and to achieve full margins from operational activities. They should be able to manage contracts to perform in line with budget, maintain a motivated, effective, and safety-conscious workforce, and ensure good client relations to meet client requirements and maximize opportunities for repeat business.
We seek qualified candidates with experience in the geotechnical industry, with a solid understanding of ground conditions, drilling, and site investigation works.
Candidates should have a good understanding of geotechnical processes and contract management, with excellent written English and letter writing skills. A customer-service focus, professionalism, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to liaise effectively with clients and regional teams.
Full UK Driving License is required.

At Soil Engineering Geoservices, our highly skilled team provides leading geotechnical expertise through ground investigation, drilling, grouting, and geotechnical testing from three bases across the country. We undertake a wide range of investigative and remediation techniques, including land and nearshore marine investigations, work in secure or high-risk environments, and challenging access projects.
Supporting our Ground Investigation business, we maintain one of the country’s largest single-site geotechnical laboratories, UKAS accredited for over 40 test disciplines, undertaking testing for internal and external projects. The laboratory also maintains in-situ testing capabilities, including CBR and Plate Bearing tests.
